I-Scaff access solutions were contracted to design & install a full scaffolding package for the demolition if Glenrothes 1970s concrete sectional ex Fife council office block. The design incorporated 2 x stair tower access and access to every elevation of the building . Using our Layher allround system, I-Scaff trained operatives erected the 3400m2 of scaffolding in 21 work days.

88 Tons of Layher materials were mobilised to the site, Where as a conventional cup system or Tube and fitting would have seen the tonnage at almost 40% more, The Layher system is not only a far more efficient system to erect with, It has massive transport benefits which allow savings to be based onto the client.

The structure upon completion has been fully sheeted with Monarflex sheeting which is designed to contain debris, But also designed to break away in very high winds to maintain the structural integrity of the scaffold.
